East Tennessee State University Housing & Residence Life

East Tennessee State University Department of Housing & Residence Life is a featured program.

What Does it Mean to be a Buccaneer at ETSU?
In the heart of Johnson City, ETSU’s main campus sits on 340 beautiful acres in the shadow of Buffalo and Cherokee Mountains.

Across the ETSU campus you will pass by more than 80 buildings, including academic and teaching facilities, and extraordinary library, state-of-the-art residence halls and athletic facilities, and even an observatory and an outdoor amphitheatre.

The center area of campus recently underwent a transformation as a road and parking areas were removed to create the Quad, a beautiful new green space which is also home to our Veterans Memorial. In early 2014, ETSU will open a new student parking garage that will add over 1,200 additional parking spaces.

In addition to the main campus ETSU has facilities on the VA campus just across the street, a campus in Kingsport, Elizabethton and Sevierville, and several satellite facilities in the area bringing education and resources to the region.

ETSU Vision
To become the best regional university in the nation.

ETSU pursues its mission through a student-centered community of learning reflecting high standards and promoting a balance of liberal arts and professional preparation, continuous improvement, and based on core values where:
