Loyola University New Orleans Department of Residential Life is a featured program.
Residential Life at Loyola is consistently looking for student feedback and finding ways to improve our services, facilities, and relationships with our residents. In Fall 2014, we created Free First Fridays. The first Friday of every month the department purchases donuts from a local bakery and brews coffee for students from 9-11am. Residents visit the office to hang out and have a light breakfast, but not without purpose. Each month we seek a different piece of feedback such as student use of community space, perceptions of the department, or handing out a logo-ed student identification holder. We have averaged an estimate of 30 students per event and hope to grow that number in the spring 2015 semester.
