The University of North Florida Department of Housing and Residence Life is a featured program.
Full–time, Professional Staff
Residence Life Coordinators (RLCs) are full–time, live–in staff members who manage a total of six residential areas on campus, housing approximately 3,000 residents. Currently, half of the RLCs at UNF supervise graduate student staff, and all six coordinators supervise anywhere from 7–20 undergraduate student staff.
Graduate Staff
Graduate Staff members with the Department are known as Assistant Residence Life Coordinators (ARLCs), and are responsible for advising Area Councils for their respective areas as well as co–supervising six undergraduate student staff members with a full–time Residence Life Coordinator. Most ARLCs are enrolled in the higher education master’s program at UNF, although they are not required to be a part of a Student Affairs/Higher Education focused program to be employed with the Department.
