I’m an RA at Westminster College in New Wilmington Pennsylvania and my story isn’t about a residence life experience of mine. It’s about a residence life experience of one of my fellow RA’s. It was Valentine’s Day and Westminster does not have co-ed residence halls and the opposite sex has to be out by midnight on weeknights.
On this special day, my fellow RA was doing her midnight round around the building and heard a boy coming from the room of one of her most “mischievous” residents. She knocked on the resident’s door and the girl came out of the room and wanted to distract my fellow RA, but she knew better. She asked if there was a boy in the room and the resident said “No.” Then, she said “Then you won’t mind if I check your room just to make sure?” She went into the room and “believe it or not,” her resident’s boyfriend was standing in the room wearing nothing but a pair of boxers with hearts all over them. There were also rose peddles all over the bed.
I know everyone that reads this knows what they were about to do. In turn the boyfriend called the RA a “bitch” because he was angry, and because he was mad about the fact that he wouldn’t be getting any action from his girl on V-Day.
That’s the story of the year!
