Do a quick analysis of the cost of a pack of cigarettes and how much smoking 5 cigarettes a day cost. Then apply this math to the cost of alternative items that could be purchased, or activities that could be paid for, with this cash.
Create a poster or do a bulletin board with this information.
This is an interesting analysis to complete.
A lot of my residents, especially the smokers, really, really took this passive program to heart. Even if they didn’t stop smoking, they realized how much money is wasted due to smoking.
Include info on campus or other resources that are available to help someone quit smoking.
