Need a great way to begin and end the year?
Each semester while the weather is nice, Smith Hall hosts an outside program to get residents better acquainted at the beginning of the Fall and to wrap up the community at the end of the Spring. All you need is a large 50-100 foot tarp, soap (preferably baby/tear free liquid soap), and a hose attached to a faucet.
Residents have a lot of fun. It gets your residents out of the building to enjoy a social event as a community. The event can be adapted in many ways including by including races and by “stand sliding” while trying to catch a Frisbee.
Setting up a table with ice cream and loads of toppings always makes the event that much better – especially on a hot day!
