I had a great program this past year: “Roast your Wiener and Check your Balls”
The name caught every male resident of my building’s attention, along with the fire pit that I brought out in front of our residence hall. In order for a resident (male or female) to get a wiener roast stick and hot dog they had to take a flyer detailing testicular cancer and how to detect it, which our nurse was kind enough to get from the local branch of the American Cancer Society. I am attaching the flyer I made to promote the program.
This was a fun and educational program for all male residents. I did it during the fall when it was a little cool and had a cooler of soda on hand as well. Half-way through the night a student in the band showed up and was playing his saxophone–it turned into a mini-party on the lawn!
