For schools that have a religious focus, finding programs that relate to religion can be tough, especially if you are trying to include all faiths.
One idea I adapted is Prayer Flags. The Tibetans would make decorative flags about 2 foot square with prayers written on them. They would tie them together end to end and hang them on hilltops.
Supplies Needed:
Markers
2 foot square piece of cloth per participant (linen or other light material)
String
Instructions:
Each participant receives a piece of cloth 2 feet by 2 feet. The cloth should be a linen style, light material. Have participants write out prayers or draw pictures of things important to themselves. They can include hopes and dreams for the coming semester or school year. Afterwards, they can take them home or you can tie all the flags together end to end and hang them in the hall as a reminder of their hopes and dreams.
This is a really good program to do in area meeting or during RA training.
