My Co-RA and I did a program last month that went great!
The cost was about $3.50 (for 500 temporary tattoos).
We have a lot of residents in our building that have gotten tattoos or are thinking about getting them. So we thought that we would do a fun and educational program about the in’s and out’s of tattoos. We contacted a local tattoo artist and had them come in to present on what to look for when going into a tattoo parlor, how to evaluate if you’ve selected a good artist, the process of getting a tattoo, and several things to think about prior to actually getting inked. After the presentation and some Q&A we let each resident select a few temporary tattoos so that they could spend some time with a tattoo on and get a better perspective of where they might want to get a tattoo placed or if they really wanted one at all.
Bottom line, this program was a big success. I recommend it to anyone.
