In my all women hall I decide to make my name tags into a time line. Each resident had a door tag with a picture of a famous and influential woman on it along with the name of the resident. The tags were in order by date in a historical time line, and connected with a long tape line that ran down the whole hallway. I then made a bulletin board with the pictures of all of the famous women and a description of what accomplishments they had made. The tags encouraged my resident’s to take pride in women’s history. Since every tag was connected by the time line it gave them a since of connection to the women next door and down the hall.
