Last fall I had an airline theme on my floor. My door tags were boarding passes that I made on my computer; I used an Excel spreadsheet and modeled them after a real boarding pass. The airline was “Ingersoll Air,” named after the residence hall that I lived in. I used room numbers instead of a seat number; the hallway number for the gate number and the date was move-in day. I put the resident’s hometown on the “from” line and Fort Collins, CO on the “to” line. The flight number was 101.
To go along with the theme, my entryway had airplanes on it and said, “Soaring high.” My bulletin boards had clouds and stars as borders and the first floor meeting was at 7:47 p.m.
