University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Department of Residence Life is a featured program.
Assessment is used to guide much of the work we do in the Department of Residence Life. MAP-Works and EBI really drive what we do at UW Oshkosh. Our Community Advisors and Senior Staff use MAP-Works data to develop community living plans for each floor environment. The Community Assistants (CAs) are able to log contacts with residents in MAP-Works, as well as see the top issues for their floor. MAP-Works also gives the CAs talking points to use with individual residents so that they can have interactions that matter and have impact on residents.
This year, our Mid-Year Training for CA staff will focus on EBI data. Staff will get to develop an action plan for how they will approach their floor community during the spring semester based on EBI data.
