Fun In The Work Place: Some Times It’s All About Food

At Catholic University they do a few things to gather folks together and having fun in the workplace:

  1. We have staff pot lucks after staff meetings at least once a semester.
    Each person brings something and we have a nice long lunch.
  2. The Director plans a surprise luncheon that is catered once a year.

  3. The staff tries to get together on Fridays at the grad dining hall - it is an open invitation for all to get together.
  4. The also have Professional Staff Appreciation Day around the time of RA appreciation which is planned as a surprise by the Director.
