Doortags:
Theatre Playbills

Door
Tag: I recently did doortags where I took a playbill and where
it would normally say "Gershwin Theatre" I put the room name
and number (ex. Robert's 201 Theatre) and where it would have the play
name I put the residents name. It's very easy to do. You search on google
image for a Playbill and copy the image into paint. Then you simply
use colored text-boxes to go over the words that are already in there.
If you're really ambitious or dislike technology, they can also be handmade.
It was hugely successful and they look great.
Bulletin
Board: To go along with my doortag theme, I also did a bulletin
board that was a playbill. Before going on winter break I handed out
surveys to my residents and from this information I made "bios"
and the residents provided me with pictures so the bulletin board is
the "cast list" of the play with all of the residents pictures
and bios. It was a lot of work but if you return early from break for
winter training, you have a bit more time than normal.
