FOR STUDENTS...
The Roommate Resource Student Training Module is a high-end video/flash technology presentation that educates students on how to live successfully with a roommate.

Use this piece of the service proactively (having all freshmen complete the tool prior to move-in) or reactively (to educate students who are currently involved in a roommate conflict).

FOR PARENTS...
The Roommate Resource Parent Education Module is an on-line PowerPoint training module educates parents about the typical university response to a roommate conflict, and the things that they can do to assist their student. It can be used proactively by having parents view the module over the summer or at the start of the year, or reactively if a conflict has occurred. As is the case with all of Reslife.Net’s services, the module is generic enough to meet the needs of all institutions, but specific enough to provide quality educational materials to parents.

FOR STAFF...
The assessment tool examines the difference between a student’s ideal, and their real roommate. It generates a report to the referring staff member that outlines potential issues in a roommate relationship, with tips on how to respond. It includes a link to a mediation training module. It is excellent for use when students may not know, or might be having difficulties communicating the real issues in their roommate relationship.
