Western Connecticut State University Housing and Residence Life is a featured program.
The ropes course is used as a part of training to help staff develop as a team. They learn how to effectively work together while having fun. The exercises helped them to get to know each other better, to build trust with one another, and to learn how to communicate effectively with one another. By participating in shared experiences with common goals they developed a sense of community as a staff.
The ropes course serves as a strong training tool that builds a positive foundation for the staff to build on throughout the year.
