University of Florida Department of Housing and Residence Education is a featured program.
While not a Living Learning Community, The University of Florida has constructed a new residence hall with a portion of rooms dedicated to providing housing for student with severe physical disabilities, Cypress Hall.
The rooms are equipped to house students with disabilities will be ADA enhanced suites, and have special features such as track/lift systems to assist the student in maneuvering around his/her room, wider doorways, push buttons to open and close doors, and more.
